Seven free days, no commitment
The iOS subscription edition gives full app access for seven days from first opening, without signing up or confirming a purchase. This is a free app evaluation, not an automatically renewing subscription trial. You are not charged when it ends. After seven days, the app requires an active paid subscription.
Choose monthly or annual access
niarT Monthly provides one month of full app access for £0.99 in the UK. niarT Annual provides twelve months of the same access for £9.99 in the UK, charged as one annual amount. Prices in other regions are shown in local currency in the app and on Apple’s purchase screen. Always review that screen before confirming.
You may subscribe before the free days end through Saved → Trial & subscription. Apple charges when you confirm a purchase, even if free days remain. Unused free days do not postpone billing. Subscription access includes live UK rail and Tube maps, offline routes, past-delay searches and on-device ticket reading, subject to the stated coverage and data availability.
Renewal and changing plans
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The selected monthly or annual subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the final 24 hours. The in-app purchase screen shows the applicable renewal price and duration.
Both plans provide the same features. Change between monthly and annual in Apple’s subscription management screen; Apple shows when the change takes effect.
Manage or cancel
In niarT, open Saved → Trial & subscription → Manage or Cancel Subscription. You can also open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → niarT, or use Apple’s subscription settings. Complete the cancellation in Apple’s screen. Deleting niarT does not cancel a subscription.
Cancellation stops future renewal; normal paid access continues until the current paid period ends. The app displays verified access and renewal information when available. Billing grace, revocations and refunds are governed by Apple’s subscription status. For billing or refund requests, use Apple’s purchase support.
Restore and offline access
Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account that purchased the subscription. No separate niarT account is needed. Your first-open trial works locally, and previously verified paid access can work offline until expiry. Connect to the App Store to purchase, restore or confirm a renewal. Clearing app storage does not intentionally reset the free period; its record is kept in the device Keychain.

The iOS app uses Apple’s standard Terms of Use (EULA). Read our Privacy Policy for how local processing, anonymous monitoring and transport searches work.
Train positions and journey durations may be estimated. Historical information does not guarantee compensation. Coverage and feed availability vary; Northern Ireland rail is not currently included. See Support for current limitations.
